Call n to talk about Balloon Safaris.

The adventure begins just before dawn, as flames from the hot air balloon burners light the darkness. As your rainbow-coloured balloon rises, the first few tongues of sunlight flicker across the skies. The flight lasts an hour or so, drifting wherever the air currents take you, with ample opportunities for photography.

What most people remark upon is the absolute stillness experienced, as you float gently above the plains, forests and rivers of the Maasai Mara. Viewing the Mara’s game in this way is an entirely unique experience.

In the time-honoured tradition of balloon flights the world over, you will toast your return to earth with a champagne breakfast, cooked for you wherever you happen to land. Finally you will experience some more conventional game viewing on your drive back into camp.

Finally each passenger is presented with a commemorative certificate. The experience is not cheap, though, at $435 per head.
