Cottars Safari Camp is situated just outside the Maasai Mara National Reserve and close to the border with Tanzania. The camp is idyllically situated in a varied and beautiful landscape looking out towards the plains of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park in the distance. Cottars Safari Camp aims to re-create the golden days of old African safaris and is reminiscent of a great era of romance, elegance and adventure.

There are 6 double or twin tents and 4 family tents set a small distance away.  The tents are spacious and luxuriously furnished in 1920’s style often with original antiques from that period.  Each has an en-suite dressing room, bathroom and canopied veranda.  The family tents consist of 2 bedrooms and a shared sitting room.

There is a tented library/reading room, and a dining area where you can enjoy excellent cuisine in a dinner party style.  There is also a swimming pool – a great luxury out here in the bush – and a massage centre where you can relax and be pampered.

On offer are day and night game drives, bush walks, river swimming, fishing, bush meals and sundowners.
